Guys don’t just flip a switch that makes them not care about the girl when shit hits the fan. It’s just that guys are more adamant in what they feel so they’re able to, legitimately, not care. Once a guy decides he’s done, he’s done. He rarely has second thoughts, he rarely hesitates about it, he rarely changes his mind. A guy’s heart and mind don’t conflict at this point.

Girls, on the other hand, are almost never sure about their own emotions, resulting in the “I don’t care” facade that they seem to always put up, when really, as everyone knows, they do care. Amidst the conflict, a girl never seems to make up her mind about what she wants, resulting in her being the only one left caring.
